The Youth Link Board convenes once a month a City Hall. The board is responsible for securing funding and giving a voice to youth in the local community government.

Youth Link Board

The Youth Link Board was formed in 1991 by the City Council to oversee the implementation of Youth Link's Action Agenda and to secure its long-term funding. The Board is comprised of 6 youths and 6 adults appointed by the City Manager. The Board convenes once a month at Bellevue City Hall. Examples of projects that have been funded include the Safe Rides Program, Ground Zero Teen Center, Bellevue Skate Park, Youth Volunteer Corps, Teen Talk Radio, Outspoken Newspaper, Youth Involvement Conference, the Youth Link Community Leadership Awards, Bellevue Youth Court and more.
